Every organization tells a story…
… through its strategies, relationships, systems, and the words that make up every message.
I help mission-driven teams write that story with intention.
Because when people, purpose, and practice align, change doesn’t just happen, it ignites.
How “Writing Change” Works:
“Writing Change” is about using language, strategy, and structure to help teams craft a coherent organizational narrative that’s capable of lasting impact — one that works in practice, not just on paper.
This approach combines 3 focused intentions:
Clarify
Make sense of complexity and find the way forward.
I help teams collect, analyze, and synthesize information to understand challenges and opportunities — and define practical next steps.
Examples:
Research and discovery • Needs assessments • Strategic frameworks • Systems mapping • Feasibility studies
Communicate
Turn insight into clear, compelling expression.
I craft and refine the written materials and messaging that move ideas into action — inside organizations and out in the world.
Examples:
Strategic and operational plans • Grant proposals • Impact and evaluation reports • Messaging frameworks • Web and publication writing
Coordinate
Build the systems that help good work run well.
I design processes, tools, and communication systems that keep teams aligned and adaptive, so their efforts stay coherent and consistent.
Examples:
Internal communication systems • Workflow and handbook design • Cross-team facilitation • Coaching for collaboration and follow-through
If your team is working toward a thriving, equitable, regenerative, and resilient future
— and you’re ready to take your impact to the next level —
I’d love to collaborate.

Your Writing Change Partner:
I’m a cultural anthropologist by training and a systems builder by instinct. For more than twenty years, I’ve worked across sectors — from global nonprofits and universities to local governments and community initiatives — helping purposeful people turn good ideas into grounded, sustainable action.
My work sits at the intersection of strategy, communication, and organizational learning. What ties it all together is a fascination with how people make meaning — and how that meaning shapes the systems of change we build.
I bring a measured, thoughtful, and practical approach to complex work, helping teams see clearly, align effectively, and express what matters most.
